During my time as an intern, I witnessed the power of academic qualifications at play. In all the organizations I worked the managers held graduate degrees in their areas of specialization. The marketing managers possessed either a great deal of professional experience or had advanced certifications in marketing. This showed me that my growth as a marketer depends on how excellently I position myself. I have learned that professional growth resembles marketing in many ways. Like the products I market, I have to reinvent myself, excellently position myself, become visible, and prove that I am the best option available. The graduate degree in marketing is part of my positioning statement, marketing pitch, and competitive advantage. I am positive that by the time I complete the program I will be strategically positioned to exploit the opportunities and benefits created by my advanced degree. The media has never had such an influence on people’s perspectives and decisions as it does today. In this day and age, this new media is everywhere: on the internet, television, the radio and anything else that is electronic. In the past, the media was not as advanced; it influenced Americans’ presidential choices less than it does today. The new media makes an impact on whom to vote for. Now that most Americans get their political news through the media, they are subjects to biased information. One form of this new media is the website, College Humor. College Humor has made a grand impact on so many peoples choices, especially choices concerning politics. On College Humor there are many political videos, articles, and visuals that influence many Americans presidential and political party choices. College Humors website is always up to date with the latest news, making it an accurate source for political information. It even has a timeline to display when specific political events take place. In addition, this website is also a show featured on MTV which helps to broaden its audience. College Humor’s audience is mainly college students. College students are usually new voters, therefore they are usually new to politics. In addition, many of these students have yet to decide which political party they would like to support. College Humor’s Youtube page alone has three million subscribers and has over one billion video views. Thus, over three million people’s views on politics are being altered. College Humor displays the Democratic Party as extremely liberal and the Republican Party as extremely conservative. There is no â€Å"in the middle party† or Independent Party. This website’s use of the rhetorical device humor persuades its audience to vote for either Barack Obama or Mitt Romney because it allows you to see the views of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party in their most extreme form. On College Humor, some of the articles, pictures, and videos mock Obama and the policies that he is supporting. One video featured on College Humor is 6-Year Old Gives 10 Reasons NOT to Vote for Obama. In this video, a young child is directed to state ten reasons why Obama is not the right candidate for president. These ten points let the audience know both about Obama’s character and what he would like to accomplish if he wins this election. The video is biased because it is from a Republican’s perspective and only displays the negative aspects of Obama’s policies. The fact that a child was used to display these reasons is a way to appeal to the audience. Most people would pay more attention if a child is speaking rather than an adult. In addition, the child’s diction is sophisticated. Thus, the child is able to establish reasons not to vote for Obama accurately and gain more awareness because of his age. The comments on the video are both negative and positive. The Republicans reacted by stating that the child is â€Å"smart for going against Obama,† that â€Å"he is more sophisticated than most Democrats,† that â€Å"there is nothing wrong with indoctrination,† and that â€Å"this is the best video of the year.† However, the Democrats were offended by this video. They stated that â€Å"using a kid for this is shameful,† that they would â€Å"vote for Obama for all those reasons,† and that â€Å"making your kid say s*** he doesn’t understand is pretty f***** up.† The point that the parents are trying to make by using their son is interpreted differently by members of both parties. It persuades people who have not decided whether or not they are Democratic or Republican because it allows you to get a specific perspective on the Republican party. Many young people who agree with the video might consider becoming a Republican and many who do not agree might consider becoming a Democrat. In addition to videos, articles, and visuals that mock Obama, there are videos, articles, and visuals that mock Romney. College Humor created a video called Mitt Romney Style. Throughout this video, an actor playing Mitt Romney dances and sings about his views and characteristics as a Republican candidate for the 2012 election. This video mocks Romney’s reputation as a rich man who believes that society should be ran by an elite. It displays how Romney lives a sumptuous life. Romney is portrayed as extremely rich in the lines â€Å"I’ve got a private jet that flies  me way up in the air† and â€Å"I bought a mansion for each of my two million heirs, straight up millionaire.† In addition, Romney’s comment that forty-seven percent of Americans believe that they are â€Å"victims† and that they will vote for president Obama â€Å"no matter what† is referenced in the part when Romney laughs at the forty-seven percent sign on the waiter’s back. Both parties reacted differently to this parody. The Democrats thought the video was hysterical. They commented saying that Romney should actually sing this song because then they would â€Å"definitely vote for him.† Other Democrats made comments saying that this is the reason Obama is the better candidate. Many Republicans thought this was a harmless video that was meant for a good laugh and thats all. Other Republicans found the video to be very offensive. One Republican actually commented and said, these cheesy/immature videos and others like it have and will influence how voters (especially young ones), decide who to vote for. Another Republican stated, these dumb and false videos are why I weep for the USAs future. People watching the video are being persuaded to vote against Romney. Romney is made to look incompetent. The audience visualizes Romney as someone who loves women, is really rich, and is absurd. While the video I discussed about the six year old mocks Obama and Mitt Romney Style mocks Romney, there are also videos on College Humor that mock both Romney and Obama. A video featured on College Humor called Epic Rap Battle: Mitt Romney vs. Barack Obama ridicules Obama and Romney and changes the view of many voters. In this video, two actors imitate Obama and Romney. The two actors have a debate while rapping. By the end, the audience is asked to choose who won and the viewers comment with their opinions. The Republicans commented, Romney!!! while the Democrats commented, Obama!!! One comment said Oh s***! This changes everything. This displays that this video alone changes the views of voters. Viewers who do not know who they are voting for are receiving false information. Therefore, they might vote for a candidate they THINK suits them but might actually be the complete opposite. Along with videos and pictures, there are also surveys and quizzes on College Humor that persuade voters. On College Humor, there is a quiz called Political Party Picker. This quiz tells the person taking it which political party he or she belongs to. The  questions only give two answer choices and both choices are extremely conflicting. For example, on of the questions states If Mitt Romney is elected president, you will? The Democratic answer is Cry! Panic! Flee the country and never return! The Republican answer is Party like crazy and celebrate getting your country back. There is no answer that is placed in the middle, which means there is no Independent Party choice. In addition, at the end of the quiz you can only be a Republican or a Democrat. If the person chooses both Democratic and Republican answers, the quiz says that he or she is new to politics and chooses a political party that he or she belongs to. A person who does not know which political party he or she fit into might take this quiz in hopes for an accurate response. However, because there are very few questions with opposing answer choices and no Independent Party, the quiz is not realistic at all. A person who does not know much about politics such as a college student might take this quiz literally and think that he or she is apart of whatever party he or she received. He or she might only vote for that partys candidate. This alters the persons entire view on politics. This displays that media alone can persuade a persons perspective. Any kind of media can persuade a voters perspective. College Humor uses videos, visuals, music, articles, and even quizzes to do so. The variety of types of media College Humor uses makes its argument potent and cogent. College Humors au courant information creates a reliable appearance for the website, which allows many people to believe what it has to say. Many college students, and other young people, are naive and therefore trust websites similar to College Humor. They confide in what the media says because they presume it is genuine. The media is a powerful tool of persuasion because so many people use it as their only source of information. It can change views as well as formulate new views, especially political ones. The media has a massive impact in persuading voters and tremendous influence in shaping young lives. On the other hand an entrepreneur is a person who has a very high aptitude who pioneers change, possessing characteristics found in only a very small fraction of the population. Other definition, anyone who wants to work him or herself is considered to be an entrepreneur. The word entrepreneur is originated from the French entreprendre, which means to undertake. In business context, it means to start a business. The dictionary presents the definition of an entrepreneur as who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise. In the Schumpeters view of entrepreneurship who is an Austrian economist Joseph Schumpeters definition of entrepreneurship places an emphasis on innovation as the new product, new production methods, new markets, new forms of organization. Furthermore, wealth is created when such innovation result in new demand. From his point of view, One can define the function of the entrepreneur as one of combining various input factors in an innovative manner to generate the value of customer with the home that this value will exceed the cost of the input factors, thus it can generate the superior returns that result in the creation of wealth. In the context of, Entrepreneurship vs. Small business many people use the terms entrepreneur and small business owner synonymously. While they may have much in common, there are significant differences between the entrepreneurial venture and the small business. Entrepreneurial ventures are different from small businesses in these ways such as the Amount of wealth creation  which means, rather than simply generating an income stream that replaces traditional employment, a successful entrepreneurial venture creates substantial wealth, typically in excess of several million dollars of profit. Speed of wealth creation  which means, while a successful small business can generate several million dollars of profit over a lifetime, entrepreneurial wealth creation often is rapid, for example, within 5 years. Risk  which means, the risk of an entrepreneurial venture must be high or otherwise, with the incentive of sure profits many entrepreneurs would be pursuing the idea and the opport unity no longer would exist. Innovation which means entrepreneurship often involves substantial innovation beyond what a small business might exhibit. This innovation gives the venture the competitive advantage that results in wealth creation. The innovation may be in the product or service itself, or in the business processes used to deliver it. Background of the study / Problem statement. In discussing the challenges that entrepreneur face in this 21 st century, it is more helpful to divide them according to their age category or enterprise status. There are divided to 3 categories which is pre-entrepreneurs. This means, this being a probationer or transitional stage, the key challenge facing pre-entrepreneurs who are just starting out in life on their own is choosing what they want to do. White and Kenyon (2000) as warn that there is a danger in selling enterprise as the best option for everyone and forgetting that successful enterprise development begins with the initiative coming from young people themselves especially. Besides that, the challenges in facing the pre-entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs among them are the promotion of awareness of various career options and possibilities to start up a business. Young entrepreneurs especially womens in this category largely require awareness and understanding of what an enterprise is and what it takes to own and manage a business so that they can consider themselves as self-employment as a career option. As an entrepreneur they should decide whether explore further, or to start their own business, the second step is the provision of practical support services such as training, advice, access to finance. To start up a business for pre-entrepreneur it is likely to involve the few stages like, the Formative Stage which means, it is related to the various factors including environmental factors that can also influence the development to become an entrepreneur. At this stage, it is important to encourage young entrepreneur to acquire appropriate entrepreneurial skills, motivations, attitudes, attributes, behaviors, and values. Second stage is the, the Developmental Stage, which it is related more specific learning and targeted skill development that would prepare an individual to move to start-up a business venture. These are learning skills and strategic skills. Learning skills it is related to the ability of a person to acquire information, knowledge, and experience from the world around them that is relevant to their entrepreneurial success. And strategic skills relates to how a person sees the world around them, envisions what is desirable, and identifies entrepreneurial opportunitie s in the world around them. And the third stage is the Start-up Stage. In this stage it refers to the specific skills that are relevant for a successful entrepreneur who is looking to advance an entrepreneurial venture to a period of growth and expansion. These are tactical skills for start-up. Tactical skills are important to conceptualizing a business, developing a business plan and establishing a business. The start-up stage also requires access to credit or finance for youth entrepreneurs. Besides that there is also few types of entrepreneurs which is the Budding entrepreneurs. These is for the young people who are just starting to run their own business. The challenge facing these young person is to increase the rate of survival and success in new businesses .This also means that budding entrepreneurs have a different set of needs from those of pre-entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs. They also need to manage the expansion of their businesses, and this make theier needs are largely revolve around by learning and knowing the ,Tactical skills for Growth, these are skills that are important to move a business into a period of growth. They include business management, management of business finances, time management, stress management , improving sales, managing and reducing costs , marketing, recruitment by able to employ the right person at the right place, and risk management. Next is the Emergent entrepreneur, where the needs of emergent entrepreneurs who are aged 26 years and above and different from those of lower categories of youth proprietors. Many of the emergent entrepreneurs, especially those operating in low income markets, are likely to be running enterprises that are not growing, with only very few graduating to the formal sector. The major challenge facing these young adults is to transform their small business into commercial and competitive businesses. By doing that, they need to have few skill which involve the Tactical skills for Growth and transformation. By using these skills it recognizes the certain skills which are important for the entrepreneur to have, while others can employ. From the survey, I have found that these skills can be divided into two which is the skills one should have where it involves the interpersonal and team building and also involve leadership. Next is the skills one can employ, means is is more to specialized marketing, record keeping, and information management. Research objectives / Scope of studies. From the research that we are finding which is on the Challenges of Women Entrepreneurs in Malaysia, is that we have found that in the 16 countries in Malaysia, most of the women entrepreneur came up from their own family business, where they took over from their parents or family. Some of the women entrepreneur also came up by doing small business like becoming a florist, bakery shops, and so on. Most of the entrepreneurs are educated and some are average having a SPM cert. Some women came up by having degree in Entrepreneurship progrmmes by scoring well and they somehow learnt about business by education. Compare to men, the challenges for women to come up as an entrepreneur is very hard because of many factors. For example, they family itself, they dun give support to them to open up a business and if it is a man the family would always give them way because he is man and they are the lead of the family. Whereas, women are mostly known as housewife in Malaysia. To become and entre preneur financial crisis might also occurs when a person dont have a business or any income background before for them to apply a loan in bank and so on. It is hard for them to start up a business without any modal in their hands. And next is, some womens who comes from an average family at times are lack with useful information to start up a business and how to manage a business. This could also be a challenge for them to try in a business. Some womans are also weak, by making a decision where before this they are more dependent to their husbands and it is hard for them now to make a decision in a big matters like bringing up the business to a level higher than before and so on. To examine these problems, research can be conducted by researches to find out the factors that are holding back the woman to becoming successful entrepreneurs. For example, the factors as said above it could be family factors or back ground, education level, and level of information about opening up a business for their future benefit. And it could also be , where women are afraid to make a decision in a matter or either they are not the risk taking persons. And the culture of certain individual could also be the factors. To identify the culture factors, we can see it in the Indian family especially, where some of the parents dont like the girls in the family doing big jobs like taking care of the shops or either they sometimes get married in the early age. This matter always happens in the low average family, this could also be the challenges or factors affecting the Malaysia entrepreneurs. Some of the woman is affected by the inner value of them also, where it is in born with them since small where the soft side of the women . For example, if there is a problem or issue occurs in a business, they dont know how to habdle it and they might give up easily without even making or coming up with a concrete reasons or decisions. To overcome all this problems , womens should start to learnt the meaning of business by starting or trying to start with small business like selling groceries, flowers, tit bits, cloths and so on. By learning with the small business, they could learnt about business how it works and when there is a problem occurs they know how to faced it. Some womens who are knowledgeable in this filed they some came up very fast for example there is few women entrepreneurs of small business nowadays. This could motivate many others to become an entrepreneurs.

INTRODUCTION Traditionally, teacher development typically occurs through trial and error in the isolated confinements of each teacher’s classroom with some periodic whole-group professional development (Goddard & Goddard, 2007). Within the past few decades, many schools and districts, including ours, have considered and experimented with Professional Learning Communities (PLC) as an alternative framework in guiding a more efficient development program for their teachers. PLCs are focused on enhancing student learning through developing teacher practices. The concept of PLC relies on using structured collaborative sessions amongst teachers within the school to build internal capacity. Through PLCs, teachers critically reflect on current practices, brainstorm solutions, and obtain help and advice from others in a supportive growth-oriented environment over an extended period of time (Vescio, Ross, & Adams, 2008; Nelson, 2009; Scher & O'Reilly, 2009; Bolam, McMahon, Stoll, Thomas, & Wallace, 2005). The theory of change guiding PLCs holds that by providing teachers with targeted support from within the school community, as oppose to hiring additional outside experts, professional developments can become for efficient. Implementation of effective PLCs requires intentional effort, school-wide and possibly district-wide restructuring of teacher schedules, and additional resources. For schools considering implementing PLCs, it is important to understand the logic of action and the benefits of PLCs as it relates to teacher improvement and increased student achievement. Othello and heart of darkness Essay

In both Shakespeare’s Othello, and Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, they pertain to racism and jealousy. Racism goes about when someone believes that they’re the superiority of a particular race. It’s treating people differently whether it’s positively or negatively just based on the color of their skin. As for jealousy, it’s more like an insecurity in which you feel or show envy of someone’s achievements and advantages or simply even just the person themself. In Othello, Jealousy is a major theme throughout the play, seen as early as the very beginning of the play and begins to deepen. Racism also plays a role in the play because it was written between 1600 and 1605 which was a time where ethnic minorities were so unimportant they were nearly ignored. A black man rises and obtains a position as a general in Venice, trusted and very much respected by his fellow â€Å"white leaders.† In Heart of Darkness, jealousy applies in which the Kurtz’s general manager is jealous and â€Å"plots his downfall.† Racism applies when Conrad talks about the way the colonial expansion in Africa led to the spread of Racism. In the Heart of Darkness, it’s centered on both a sailor, Marlow and his upriver journey to meet Kurtz. Kurtz is reputed to be a man of â€Å"great abilities† and also set out to be idealistic. Marlow takes a job in which he is a riverboat captain who happens to be obsessed with Africa in which he later encountered an obsession with Kurtz. When Marlow first heard about Kurtz he’s â€Å"not very interested in him† (1.74) yet, after later hearing the story about Kurtz â€Å"turning back to the jungle† he suddenly gained interest. It’s as if Kurtz has done what Marlow can only dream of. After meeting Kurtz, Marlow begins to resent him and exclaims that â€Å"He’s no idol of mine† (3.6) and it began to seem as if he decide as if Kurtz is actually just â€Å"childish† more or less like a helpless, selfish man filled with ignorant hopes and dreams of being rich and powerful. Marlow also compared him to a child by saying he†™s â€Å"not much heavier than a child† (3.29) Kurtz on the other hand is a â€Å"star agent† of the company and works in true ivory country located deep in Africa; he’s an ambitious man whom has to act like god or a leader of some sort to lead â€Å"primitive people† to civilization or â€Å"proverbial light.† Due to being a person with such success and advantages, jealousy applies. Kurtz’s manager is a basically mediocre Company Employee which gives him a reason to be envious. He both lives and works at Central  Station. He is jealous of Kurtz’s success and speaks irrelevantly and also has a creepy smile described as â€Å"seal applied on words to make the meaning of commonest phrase appear absolutely inscrutable† (1.52) In other words, his irrelevant words or meaningless talk ends up seeming profound due to his smile. Because of The Manager’s â€Å"machine like† personality it’s a contrast to Kurtz’s idealism; this makes him envy Kurtz more is becau se of Kurtz popularity with the Company in Europe and feared being usurped. Racism in Heart of Darkness was used differently because instead it was used by Conrad, the author himself. â€Å"The thought of their humanity-like yours†¦Ugly† (2.4) which shows the racism he had towards â€Å"blacks† because when being compared to a black man’s humanity he was plain out disgusted by it. A second example was when he first saw a black man and said, â€Å"A certain enormous buck nigger encountered in Haiti fixed my conception of blind, furious, unreasoning rage, as manifested in the human animal to the end of my days. Of the nigger I used to dream for years afterwards† which shows racism simply because the term nigger was used more than once in a discriminating way. A final example pertaining to racism is general, which readers can see how racist the Europeans were towards the blacks not only because they were turned into slaves and how European people seem to think that the Africans aren’t equal to them. In Shakespeare’s Othello, one of the main focuses is jealousy and how jealousy can destroy lives. Othello is a general in the service of Venice and has a friend that goes by the name of Lago whom is highly ambitious. Othello promotes Michael Cassio to a higher position of being a personal lieutenant causing Lago to be jealous. Lago begins a malicious â€Å"campaign† against the â€Å"hero†. Othello then elopes with Desdemona, but Lago beings plotting against them both. Othello then becomes both suspicious and jealous of Desdemona & later confides in Lago that he plans to poison Desdemona. Then, plots and murders begin to ensue and Othello remains to the castle to kill his â€Å"innocent wife†. After killing her Emilia tells Othello the truth about the Lagos scheme, leading Othello to wounding Lago & killing himself and Lago Later kills Emilia. Throughout Othello the use of jealousy was used throughout the play. An example of jealousy was used when the position was given to Michael Cassio said by Lago, â€Å"One Michael Cassio, a Florentine†¦In  all soldiership but he sir, had the election†¦Ã¢â‚¬  (1.1.2) In other words, Lago is claiming that he hates Othello because Othello passed him, Lago, over a promotion and giving â€Å"one Michael Cassio† instead of him, which indicates his jealousy of not getting the promotion. Another quote which relates is when Lago then says that he hates Othello because he’s heard a rumor that Othello has been â€Å"hooking up† with Lago’s wife although he said right before that he hates Othello because Othello which shows that he’s being insecure and letting jealously get to him by saying, â€Å"The Moor† passed him over for a promotion, â€Å"I hate the Moor: and it is thought abroad†¦He has done my office† (1.3.12) Racism was used often in this book as well due to Othello being black and Lago is already envious of Othello. After building up the hatred for Othello, Lago discriminated against Othello in which he said, â€Å"Every now, now, very now, an old black ram is tupping your white ewe†¦Ã¢â‚¬  (1.1.9) meaning that his daughter, Desdemona eloped with Othello calling him the black ram because he’s black and saying that he is sleeping (tupping) with his daughter. Another quote where racism was used in Othello was another quote using animal imagery to talk about black people â€Å"grounded† in the idea that both black men and woman are inhuman, he said, â€Å"†¦I am one sir, that comes to tell you your daughter and the Moor are now making the beast with two backs, you’ll have your daughter covered with a Barbary horse† (1.1.7) also once again stating that Othello and Desdemona are sleeping together. A final quote said by Lago again was, â€Å"She in spite of nature†¦ To fall in love with what she feared to look on!† implying that Desdemona’s lo ve for Othello is unnatural and she would never fall for a black man. In conclusion, both Othello and Heart of Darkness pertain to Racism and Jealousy which applies in their own way. In Heart of Darkness The Manager was jealous of Kurtz for Kurtz’s success and popularity, meanwhile in Othello, Lago was jealous of the fact that he didn’t get a promotion. Jealousy can basically destroy lives. As for Racism, there’s no point in it. In Othello, it was different from the way jealousy was applied in Heart of Darkness because the author in Heart of Darkness stated things in a racist manner; whereas when racism took place in Othello, it was used by the characters or â€Å"actors† of the play rather than it being said by the author. High school Confidential Essay

Some people say that high school is the most crucial part of a student’s life but others they say that it is the happiest chapter of a student’s life. There are a lot of things that a teenager wants to explore and it starts when one reaches high school; curiosity starts in this part of a person’s life. But did it ever occur to your minds what happens in a typical and an atypical high school class? Have you ever pictured in your minds what is it like being in a high school class? Have you ever wondered how the students’ relationship with their teachers is? What do the students do often? In this section â€Å"demented kindergarten†, of the book â€Å"High School Confidential† Iversen tackles about the relationship of an atypical high school students with their teacher. This chapter shows how the students get along in class and how they treat each other. It also talks about what goes on between the students. Through Charity and Vic’s relationship as classmates, as shown in the section demented kindergarten, Iversen shows that respect was lacking among the students. There is no good relationship between the two students; it employs that there was no respect for women. In this section, Iversen also shows the domineering nature of man over women. In Charity and Vic’s relationship it was shown that Vic does not have respect over Charity as a woman. Although Vic and Charity were classmates and charity was a girl Vic did not bother to talk to her in a disrespectful manner; it is not lawful to talk to women in an odd way because it degrades women’s confidence and dignity. When Vic said that he had a hung over, Charity was kind enough to tell him to take Advil for his headache, but instead of saying thank you to Charity Vic yelled at her and called her a slut. It was not proper for him to call Charity a slut because he is not in the position to scrutinize someone, most especially women. Disrespect and power over women was also portrayed through Vic and Sara. As Iversen had written in his book, Vic spun Sara’s chair until she can no longer take it and tumbled. Sara did not oppose Vic while he was spinning her chair; she just let him do what he wanted to do because Vic was more powerful than Sara; because Sara might have felt that she can not do anything to stop Vic because she was helpless. Although Vic knows that Sara would be helpless and might tumble if he would spin the chair faster he still managed to spin Sara’s chair without hesitation. In the social context of the book â€Å"High School Confidential, Iversen’s observation about how men disrespect women and the domineering nature of man is very common. Vic is powerful in the social structure of their school he was a bully. And because he is a man he is over empowering women, like Charity and Sara, around him. He is fund of dominating because he is a man; he wanted to show that he is more powerful than women. Men are domineering in nature and they seek superiority over women; they raise their manliness by doing things to make women look and feel helpless and less powerful. This nature of men is actually very visible in the society and in some cultures. Just like in Japan, men of Japan do typical things that a man does; earning money for the family and being the head of the family, they are not suppose to be seen in kitchen because it would be a disgrace for their manliness. While women of Japan are suppose to do only household chores, they are not entitled to do manly things. Some men show their manliness in other ways such as sadism, they tend to beat their wives because they wanted to show that they are the more powerful kind and that no one can oppose them most especially women, but some men do the beating habitually that’s why many government agencies help battered women. That is also why there are republic acts which tend to help women against violence. A single insult to women can be treated as violence against them; telling them that they are slut, whore and the likes. Cursing women and saying various words that might degrade them can be called violence against women. In the section â€Å"demented kindergarten† Iversen tells the domineering nature of men is a problem of our society. Everybody is not aware of this problem that is why Iversen made a way on how to communicate with the society through his book â€Å"High School Confidential†. Iversen wants others to know that in simple ways such as bullying a classmate can employ male domination. Iversen also exploited the disrespectfulness of men to women. Although the theme of the section is not that clear and visible unless understood, Iversen had still managed to write the book in the most convenient way he knows (Iversen)
